Chef Nunez joins The Rex family following a tenure at Faith and Flower, one of downtown Los Angeles’s premier restaurants. Chef Nunez brought forth a distinct vision for his team and menu that is unparalleled, and is sure to carry on that standard in Redondo Beach.
A Los Angeles native, Chef Nunez has a sizeable pedigree in the California culinary world. He credits much of his success to his time in the kitchen of San Francisco’s award-winning Jardinière – in which he was mentored by famed restaurateur and Chef Traci Des Jardins. He looks forward to bringing his immense culinary knowledge and signature style to the shores of Redondo at The Rex.
